About the Doctor

Dr. Geoffrey Chan

Dr. Geoffrey Chan has lived and practiced dentistry in Redmond for over 10 years. Before he called the beautiful Northwest his home, he graduated at the University of British Columbia with a double Major in Microbiology and Immunology along with Nutritional Science. He continued on to the New York University College of Dentistry to obtain his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree. He was on the Dean's List for all years and graduated among the top in his class. He then completed his General Practice Residency at the University of Washington where he underwent comprehensive training in all facets of dentistry. He developed extensive oral surgery, geriatrics, pediatrics and complex restorative skills throughout his year of training.

Having worked day-in-day-out with an orthodontist, periodontist and oral surgeon for eight years Dr. Chan has become very attuned to treating complex dentistry cases. He puts the patients comfort and the quality of their care first by working in coordination with a variety of specialists to perfect their treatment. 

Dr. Chan spends a considerable amount of time volunteering with Medical Teams International who provide mobile van dental care services to those in need. His donation, time and service to the Tent City Denture Project in coordination with Great Seattle Cares was well appreciated and received by the community. He recently started helping at Swedish Community Specialty Clinic in Downtown Seattle providing no-cost dental treatment.

In 2014 Dr. Chan and his amazing staff participated with the RAM  (Remote Area Medical Clinic) organization which provided free medical and dental health care, 3,400 patients were treated in 4 days! 

Outside of seeing patients at his busy office, Dr. Chan loves to spend time with his wonderful wife Danna and two active little boys. He also enjoys traveling and skiing.
